I decided when I was 24 that I wanted to become a Doctor of Chiropractic after having lower back pain due to a herniated lumbar (low back) disc. I began getting adjusted and within a few weeks I was pain free and had my life back. I knew then that I wanted to help others through chiropractic and I began my journey toward becoming a chiropractor. After completing my Bachelors of Science degree, I moved to Davenport, Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Following graduation I wanted to go somewhere new and ultimately decided to accept a position in the Metro Detroit area. I have fallen in love with Michigan and chose to make it my permanent home. In 2017 I had the opportunity to buy Integrity Health & Wellness in Jackson and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I love the Jackson area and the community, and the patients have all been incredible. I’m so excited to be a part of the Jackson community and I look forward to continuing to serve its residents in our office.

Summer takes a holistic approach to healing, addressing both physical tension and emotional stress. Drawing inspiration from Lomi Lomi, her flow style incorporates fluid wave-like movements, that allow the body to release tension. Summer utilizes  myofascial release, deep tissue, stretching, and lymphatic drainage, in her therapeutic sessions. By integrating these technique Summer works to restore the body’s natural harmony. As a holistic massage therapist, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful stretching, myofascial release, and deep tissue work can be in helping clients feel better in their bodies. Stretching improves flexibility and range of motion, making it easier for people to move without pain or stiffness. Myofascial release targets the connective tissue—releasing restrictions and promoting better posture and circulation. Deep tissue massage goes even deeper, working through layers of muscle to relieve chronic tension and break up adhesions that cause discomfort. I use organic massage oil during my sessions because it’s gentler on the skin, free of synthetic chemicals, and enhances the therapeutic experience. The natural ingredients nourish the skin while allowing my hands to glide smoothly, creating a safe and holistic environment for healing.

Hi! I’m Lindsey Jacobson. I grew up in a small farming town in West Michigan before heading to Spring Arbor University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science. During my time there, I completed an internship in Preventative Cardiology at the University of Michigan (though I’ll always be a Michigan State fan!). After graduation, my husband and I settled in the Jackson area, where I began working at a community hospital fitness center. Over time, my path led me into cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation, and along the way, I became certified as both a Personal Trainer and a Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. These roles have allowed me to design customized exercise and fitness plans for people from all walks of life, each with unique goals and health needs. My own experience with chronic pain brought me to Dr. Holtz, whose treatment reminded me just how vital the balance between stability and mobility are to our well-being—and how much they impact our everyday lives. Today, I’m excited to walk alongside you on your journey toward better movement and renewed confidence. Whether you’re managing a condition, rebuilding strength, or simply want to feel more capable in your day-to-day life, I’m here to help you go from feeling stuck to feeling capable of what life throws your way.
